Releases
Born a preachers kid in rural Pennsylvania, USA,
Dawn Kinnard was inspired by early blues, country
and gospel. Since high school Dawn has cut hair
to pay the bills, and taken cross-country trips,
alone on her motorcycle to find clarity. In her
teens, Dawn discovered a love for music when she
found Elvis, though she likes to think he found
her. Dawn then began exploring the music that
inspired The King and her tastes grew to early
roots music. Late in high school she picked up a
guitar and discovered her own unique voice.
